Sanborn included in FCS donations to local Fire Departments

Farmers Coop Society has recently contributed to 53 local fire departments across their trade territory. They are giving these donations on behalf of their customers who completed a recent survey. Each participant was able to specifically choose where a contribution could be made from a list of 80 fire departments across their trade territory. For every completed survey FCS would contribute $10 on their behalf.
A check for $330.00 was recently presented to Sanborn Fire Department.
“We wanted to let our customers have a voice, to choose where their contribution would end up. We are a member-owned coop and want to support our local communities as much as we can,” said John McDaniel, CEO at Farmers Coop Society.
Farmers Coop Society cares about their customers and their communities and is proud to be able give back to their local Fire and EMT departments. Those volunteers and staff provide an essential role in all of our local communities and FCS is grateful for their service.
“Most of the fire departments across our trade territory are volunteer fire departments and our communities depend on their dedication and their commitment. That dedication deserves to be supported.” said McDaniel. All of the donations will be used towards equipment updates or training practices.
Farmers Coop Society, a member owned cooperative, has ten locations across Northwest Iowa, Southeast South Dakota, and Southwest Minnesota. FCS offers patrons agronomy, feed, and grain sales and services, and also operates the How-to Building Center in Sioux Center.
