The 37th Annual University of Okoboji Cycling Classic Campus Bike Ride is scheduled for Saturday, June 26. There are three rides offered: Quarter Century (25 miles) around West Okoboji; Half Century (50 miles) around West Okoboji, Spirit Lake and East Okoboji; Century (100 miles) around the Iowa Great Lakes and Campus.
The start and finish location is Florence Park in Milford across from Okoboji High School on H Avenue. Early Registration is Friday, June 25 from 7:00-9:00 p.m. Saturday registration begins at 7:00 a.m. Breakfast is available at the park. The Ride starts at 9:00 a.m. and at 2:00 p.m. there will be a barbecue and live music back at the park.
Those interested in participating may register online at www.thethreesons.com. Riders are reminded that the Campus Ride is neither a race nor a test of stamina. It is intended that all participants ride at their own pace and in a safe and responsible manner whether riding one mile or 100.
