Dan Shinkle attended the July 27 Supervisors meeting. He described the work he did to his property following the Drainage District 5 work and subsequent flooding. The work Shinkle did or contracted included bank slopes, plants, adding rip rap and leveling. He also did some tile work. He requested from the county board of supervisors acting as DD5 Trustees reimbursement for the rip rap. The reimbursement reached $5435.00. Shinkle commented that he guessed he had $10,000 in labor invested in repairing DD5 where he farms.
