Graveside services for Dr. J.M. Eason, long-time dentist here, were held Thursday at Roseland Cemetery. Dr. Eason died on August 22 at his home after a short illness.
Staff Sergeant Dennis L. Prins is on duty at Phan Rang AB, Vietnam.

The wooden building at the corner of O’Brien and First Street collapsed last Friday. It was purchased by Hartog Elevator in 1957 and they had used it as storage. The building formerly housed the J.F. Anderson Lumber Company.
Mrs. Maggie Alons celebrated her 92nd birthday anniversary at Prairie View with family on August 29.
