The Hartley Melvin Sanborn Band Preformed Saturday, October 9 At The IHSMA State Marching Band Festival In Sheldon In Class 2A. They Received A 3 Rating At The IHSMA State Marching Band Festival. Other Bands In The Class 2A Competition Were Lawton Bronson High School (received A 1 Rating). IKM Manning (received A 1 Rating), Cherokee Washington High School (received A 1 Rating), Sibley Ocheyedan High School (received A 1 Rating), And West Lyon High School (received A 1 Rating). HMS’s Show Title This Year Is “The Elements” Music Played Was “Firework” Arranged By Michael Brown “Smoke On The Water” Arranged By Michael Sweeney, “Learn To Fly” Arranged By Michael Brown.
