Linda Rozeboom drove to Omaha, NE this weekend to attend the family Christmas hosted by Tyler and Sarah Rozeboom, Braelyn and Braxton. Others present were Paul and Shelly Rozeboom, Travis, Sabrina and Lochlin; Brett and Kim Weihe, Coy, Calan, and Corwin; Matthew and Emily Rozeboom and Jud; Sam and Kaitlyn Nesbitt and Amorie Lee, all of Omaha; and Mike, Danielle and Bryce Rozeboom, and Grace Nuegebauer of Sioux Falls, SD, and Marisa Nuegebauer of Vermillion, SD.
Harriet and Jeane Van Veldhuizen went to Sioux Falls, SD Sunday to attend the Christmas Cantata at the Community Reformed Church where Harriet’s daughter, Diane was singing. They enjoyed lunch with Diane and Chad McKee and family and Shari and Anna Pyle. They all spent some time visiting at Shiri’s new home and then visited in the home of Bertha Roetman, a cousin. On the return home they visited briefly at Harriet’s nephew, Craig and Lori DeRyke near Canton, SD and at Jeane’s sister, Esther Vanden Berg at Rock Valley. Esther took them on a tour of the Christmas lights at Riverview Campground.
Don Hakeman and Jim and Becky Suckow were Saturday supper guests in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home.
Visitors of Sally Knowlton Sunday were David Amundson and Janie Slade of Canton, SD and Melinda Larson of Sioux Falls. They enjoyed a carry-in dinner with Sally.
Advent by Candlelight was held from 4-6:00 p.m. Sunday at St. John’s Lutheran Church. The theme was “Blessings from the Manger.” There were 40 members and guests in attendance.
Don Hakeman and Jack and Carol Elgersma were Sunday dinner guests in the Jim and Becky Suckow home.
Corky Camarigg was a supper guest last week Thursday in the home of Mark and Denise Bohnet at Sheldon.
