Weekend guests in the home of Lee and Susie Van Tol arrived in the evening on Thurs., December 2 and returned the following Sunday, the 5th. Included were their daughter and son-in-law, Don and Jackie Vander Zee of South Holland, IL and their children: Crystal and Dwayne Allgeyer, sons Emmitt and Parker of Downers Grove, IL; Kayla and Nathan Middel and daughter, Maddie of Naperville, IL; Kyle and Nicole Vander Zee and daughter, Joelle and infant son Lee (named after great-grandpa Lee) from South Holland, IL.
On Monday, Dec. 6 Cindy McParlund, Carol Salazar, Kathy Ginger, and Susan Leth traveled to Sioux City to spend the day Christmas shopping, eating out and enjoying the day together. They all returned home that evening.
Charlotte Vierhout hosted a brunch for the former Flea Market girls last week. Attending were Lisa Smith, Glenda Miller, Susie Van Tol, Linda Rozeboom and Charlotte. Unable to attend were Glenda Visser and Jacque Comstock. They enjoyed a good time reminiscing.
David Amundson and Janie Slade of Canton, SD brought dinner Sunday to enjoy with their aunt, Sally Knowlton.
Linda Rozeboom was a dinner guest of Sally Knowlon last week Monday.
Last week Wednesday Mina Van Kley’s nephew, Marlyn Roelf of Ashton came to visit her. On Saturday Denny and Sandy Van Kley of Sioux Center visited her and on Sunday Craig Van Kley of Blue Earth visited his mother.
Bob and Nella Seivert of Harlan visited Sylvia Andringa Sunday.
Saturday supper guests of Jack and Carol Elgersma were Don Hakeman and Jim and Becky Suckow.
Game Night was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church Sunday with six in attendance. Sickness and other commitments kept others from attending.
