Don Hakeman was a Saturday supper guest and Sunday dinner guest in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home.
Jim and Becky Suckow visited their daughter, Amy at Eden Prairie, MN from Saturday to Sunday.
Larry and Fran Peelen attended the Presentation given by Anita Hinkeldey Mcvey held at the Event Center in Sheldon. Because he First Fed Us was the book her message was taken from. Ordinary Meals an Extraordinary Message was the main theme. Anita asked for audience participation asking questions pertaining to our everyday lives, Larry answered one of her questions and received a jar of salt spice mix. There was a very nice door prize which Larry won.
Ken and Dianne Meyer, Hannah and Eliot from Omaha, NE spent Friday and Saturday in the Larry Peelen home. Hannah plays volleyball on a traveling team in Omaha and Eliot attends college at University of Nebraska Omaha. They came especially to help Fran Peelen celebrate her birthday. Chris and Jen Meyer of Ames came Saturday to help Fran celebrate her birthday. They returned home Sunday afternoon. Jen will graduate from Veterinary college in May and has accepted a job in Davenport. Chris is employed in Des Moines.
