Word was received of the death of Larry Bruggom of Sheridan, MT, who passed away February 6, 2022 at the age of 81. He was born April 4, 1940 to Herman and Jennie Bruggom on the family farm near Philby, IA. He graduated from Sanborn High School with the Class of 1958. Shortly after, he was drafted into the US Army as a medic. After discharge, he headed to Idaho where he met Carol, his wife of 55 years. Larry was employed by IBM as a Customer Service Engineer for 24 years. He was a proud member of the American Legion and NRA and attended both Ruby Valley and Grace Community Churches.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; his brother Bill Bruggom; sister Jane Bjork; and sister Ruth Ballou; all of Iowa. He is survived by his wife, Carol; his children Tracy (Frank) Jasso and Michael Bruggom of Washington; granddaughters Julena and Sierra of Washington; and sister Phyllis (Ray) Elgersma of Sanborn along with other beloved family, nieces, nephews and friends.
