Keith and Nancy Iverson attended the Girls State Basketball Tourney in Des Moines last week. Their granddaughter, Kirsten Letche is on the MMCRU team. She is the daughter of Brian and Shannon Letche of Marcus. The MMCRU team lost the Class 1A championship game by three points.
Wanda Schuver celebrated her 94th birthday a week ago with her family. Tim and Pat Cooper of Indianola brought Marie Maranell of Carlisle with them that Friday. They enjoyed dinner at Jay’s Restaurant with Wanda. That Saturday Steve and Tracy Schuver of Everly joined the group and they all celebrated Wanda’s birthday at Jay’s Restaurant for dinner. She had a beautifully decorated birthday cake and received many nice cards and flowers.
Don Hakeman and Jim and Becky Suckow were Saturday supper guests in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home.
Saturday afternoon visitors in the Charlotte Dasen home were her cousins, Esther D’Agrosa of Boyden and Anna D’Agrosa and son Pete of Brooklyn, NY.
Loretta Boender of Ashton visited her Aunt Sylvia Andringa last week Tuesday. Stan Andringa of Armstrong came later in the day to visit and took his mother out for supper.
Jack and Carol Elgersma and Don Hakeman were Sunday dinner guests in the Jim and Becky Suckow home.
