Nancy Iverson attended a bridal shower Saturday afternoon at Remsen in honor of Megan Loutsch, bride-elect of Baden Letsche of Marcus. Baden is the son of Brian and Shannon Letsche and a grandson of Nancy Iverson.
A birthday supper in honor of Huckson Vermeer on his second birthday, was held at the Sanborn Community Building Saturday. Huckson is a grandson of Brian and Betheny Buren and great-grandson of Nancy Iverson. His parents are Chase and Amber Vermeer.
Lanea Elgersma and Aubrey of Otsega, MN were weekend visitors in Sanborn coming especially to attend the shower for Megan Loutsch and birthday party for Huckson Vermeer.
Tucker Hoekstra of Hull celebrated his ninth birthday at a birthday dinner in the home of his grandparents, Mike and Judy Visser Sunday. Others present to help him celebrate were his parents and siblings, Justin and Mandy Hoekstra and his great-grandparents, Lee and Susie Van Tol and Gertie Visser.

The Crazy 8 Card Club met at Jay’s Restaurant for lunch and played 500 Friday. Sandi Kleve was hostess. Ardis Dummett won high score, Gayle Dummett won second and Donna Fell was low.
