The Friends of the Library announce their annual Easter Coloring Contest. The Contest is for kids ages 2-10. All you need to do is pick up a coloring page at the library starting March 25, color it, and return it to the library by April 13. There will be one winner in each age group. Entries will be judged on April 16 and the winners announced.
Also National Library Week is April 3-9. Baskets featuring different themes will be on display that week until April 21. Everyone is invited to stop in at the library to register for the baskets. The baskets hold a variety of interests for all ages. The Friends of the Library encourages everyone to stop in at the library to check out a book, a movie, a game, a puzzle, or just to see what’s new. The Friends recognize that the library is an essential part of our community and they are proud of it.
