On April 2 at about 5:30 p.m. the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office arrested Christine Larson, age 28, of Sanborn. The arrest stems from a report of a suspicious vehicle. A deputy located the vehicle parked at a local business. Larson was located nearby, by the deputy. During contact with Larson it was determined that she had valid arrest warrants out of O’Brien and Clay Counties.
Larson was transported to the Lyon County Jail where it was discovered that she had introduced contraband into the facility. Larson was charged with possession of contraband in a correctional facility, a class D felony. She was also charged with possession of a controlled substance, a serious misdemeanor.
