Kids got to tour the Fire Trucks at the Sanborn Fire Department during the Kids Safe Day Event during a rainy Saturday afternoon.

A fun-filled, family-friendly Kids Safe Day event was held on Saturday, April 30th at the Sanborn Fire Station. The event was free to the public. Lightening grounded the helicopter from Sanford-Med. There was plenty of fun activities for kids to do including inflatables, some firefighter games, kids meet local police officers and fire fighters, practiced emergency care taught by the ambulance personnel, there was face painting, caricatures, balloon animals and so much more to do. There was a yummy freewill hotdog and chips fundraising lunch served by the Firefighters. The event was sponsored by Family Health Chiropractic and put on by local emergency personnel. There was something for people of all ages there.
