Chamber Chat
Hello everyone! Hope you had a great Mother’s Day and are getting all your crops, gardens and flowers planted. It was so nice to actually have a gorgeous weekend last weekend. As far as Sanborn goes, it’s that time again for me to keep you abreast of all the Sanborn Chamber members events and opportunities.
Hope everyone that wanted to got the opportunity to attend the “Winter Succs” event. It was well received and a lot of those cute little plants went out the door to new homes. THANKS to everyone who attended…we hope you enjoyed yourself.
The Chamber would also like to thank Family Health Chiropractic for hosting their Safe Kids Day event. WOW…what a bunch of fun opportunities for the youngest Sanbornittes to experience. I personally thought the spraying of the fire hose was pretty slick…and that face painter…AMAZING! Would love to see it again next year Dr. Carlin!!
Railroad Days 2022 planning is going strong to help bring a fun filled weekend to everyone this July 22, 23 & 24th. Meetings have been held and coordination of some of the celebrations past favorites along with some new ideas have occurred. As I mentioned last month a special RR days committee is being formed to observe the 2022 events and then take on the 2023 celebration by themselves. If you would like to help in next years event reach out to Rob Willis or shoot us an email at sanbornchamber@gmail.com and we will get you guys together.
On a side note, the Sanborn Country Club has several golf tournaments that you and a buddy can sign up to attend. For more information on what’s available and when give them a call at 930-5600 or stop out and check out the tournament book
Before I sign off this month many congratulations to all of you college, high school and 8th grade graduates for 2022! May you dream big, shoot for the stars and change the world.
