The next Movie Night will take place Sunday evening, May 29 at 7:00 p.m. at the First Reformed Church in Melvin. At that time the movie Different Drummers will be shown. The movie is based on an inspiring true story of two boys growing up in the 1960s. David is growing weaker with muscular dystrophy and is confined to a wheelchair when he befriends Lyle. They both become convinced that with faith and willpower, Lyle can teach David to run! As one tries to give the other his extra energy, they learn life’s great, yet sometimes painful lessons. Refreshments will be served during a brief intermission.
