A Graduation Ceremony for Sanborn Christian School was held May 25 at Cornerstone United Reformed Church. Members of the Graduating Class of 2022 are Caleb Aaron, Asa Alons, Thalan Andringa, Trevin Back, Mia Bakker, Alexnder Billings, Madison Krikke, Sage Kuperus, Drew Reitsma, Avery Rozenboom, Oliva Spronk, Addison Sybesma, Blake Van Beek, Tayden Van Beek and Autumn Wolfswinkel. Their class colors are black, white, gold and dusty blue, their class verse is “For nothing will be impossible with God.” (Luke 1:37) and their class motto is “Nothing is Impossible.”
Following the processional, an opening prayer was offered by Anthony Minderhoud, school administrator. Avery Rozenboom delivered the class greeting. The Junior High Choir performed “Greater” and the Eighth Grade sang “Oceans.” Providing the accompaniment was Jamie Carlson.
The address was given by Stephanie Kuperus. Mr. Minderhoud announced the President’s Academic Award, the STARS Service Award and the Staff Recognition before presenting the graduates. Quint De Groot had the honor of awarding the Diplomas and Bibles and closed with prayer. Donna Hofman played the postlude as she had the processional.
