Mark and Connie Noll of Iowa Falls stopped for a few minutes last week to visit in the Charlotte Dasen home on their way to visit family in Minnesota.

Lee Van Tol celebrated his 88th birthday Sunday afternoon with family. They included Justin and Karla Van Tol, Ken and Rebecca Miller and daughters of Primghar. Mike and Judy Visser, and Justin and Mandy Hoekstra and family of Hull. They had an enjoyable afternoon.
Saturday noon Jeane Van Veldhuizen and Harriet Van Veldhuizen enjoyed lunch and a good visit at Jay’s Restaurant with their husbands’ cousins Rod and Dorothy Kroese of Ellsworth, MN.
Shania Buren was guest of honor at a baby shower Saturday afternoon hosted by her aunts at the home of Shannon Letsche of Marcus. Special guests were grandmothers Rassel, Karen Buren and Nancy Iverson.
Shane and Lanea Elgersma and family of Otsego, MN were house guests of Keith and Nancy Iverson over the weekend.
Harriet Van Veldhuizen went to Le Mars on Friday evening with Ryan and Nancy Van Dyke to watch her great-grandson, Austin Mason play football for the Webster City Lynx who defeated the Le Mars Bulldogs 28-7. Other family attending were John and Donna Farrell of Sanborn, Chad and Diane McKee and Shari Pyle of Sioux Falls, and Brandon, Lori, Miley and Waylon Mason of Webster City. Harriet was pleasantly surprised to see Merne and Edna Haack who had come to watch their granddaughter in the Le Mars band, and Craig Van Kley and wife whose son Kurt, is one of the Le Mars coaches.
Tom Hakeman of Boerne, TX returned home Saturday after attending the funeral for his brother, Don Hakeman last week.
Kris Hakeman of Coral Springs, FL is a house guest of Jim and Becky Suckow. She plans to return home on Saturday.
