Both Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn high school and middle school will be welcoming new principals. Among the contracts offered by the HMS school board at their February 20 meeting were those to Blake Wendt as high school principal and to Heidi Douma as middle school principal.
At the same meeting the school board accepted the resignations of current high school principal Nathan Hemiller and current middle school principal Matt Van Voorst. Both of those resignations are effective at the end of the school year.
