Yesterday’s Memories looking to expand one exhibit and create another

Yesterday’s Memories Museum in Sanborn wants to expand its military displays. The museum would also like to open a new exhibit. For both of those projects, they need the help of the public.
Do you have old uniforms, medals, or anything military related that is collecting dust at your home and you feel would look better displayed and cherished at Yesterday’s Memories? They ask you to please bring it over to the museum as they would love to have it in one of their display cases ready to tell a story for the next generations. There it will be preserved for everyone to see and learn from, not slowly deteriorating in a dark corner of a closet or garage. The museum is proud of their local military members’ service and would love to promote that pride and patriotism for our country by displaying a small piece of the service members’ lives for all to remember and not forget.
The museum also believes that nothing tells the story better than an old photo. They love telling stories at the museum, so it only makes sense for them to open up an old photo display. Do you have old framed or unframed pictures that you are not quite sure what to do with? They would love to have them here at the museum, especially old historical shots of Sanborn area buildings, farms, and people. Whether you know who is in the picture or not, or what farm or building it is, that doesn’t matter to the Musuem – if its vintage they will love it there. Yesterday’s Memories thanks the public in advance for your help in preserving the past for all of us to remember, and most of all to teach others where we came from and the struggles and joys that it took to get to where we are today!
