The Orange City Arts Council seeks artists for the annual Artist’s Showcase: 2023 Regional Exhibition: Primary Colors. This year’s show will take place June 5 – 21, 2023, at the Stadscentrum Building in downtown Orange City, Iowa, to coincide with the start of the Orange City OnStage program, a free concert series in Windmill Park.
The exhibit is open to any artist, college-age and up, within a 350-mile radius of Orange City, with this year’s theme being “Primary Colors.” Submitted artwork must have at least one of the primary colors (red, blue, yellow) used as a primary artistic element. There is no entry fee, and cash prizes for Best in Show and Honorable Mention will be awarded. A closing reception will be held on June 21 before the concert in the park.
