The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn girls picked up a War Eagle Conference golf win over West Sioux April 17 at Sanborn Golf and Country Club. HMS shot its low team score of the season to that point with a 216. The Falcons competed with only two golfers so did not post a team score.
The Hawks’ four golfers swept the medals. Gracie Knobloch was first after firing a 46. Kinsey Schirmer earned the runner-up spot with a round of 50. Elise Haack was third with a 54 and Abby Kunzman carded a 66 to take fourth. For West Sioux, Callie Hamilton shot 76 and Crystal Ramirez 77.
