- Call to Order
The Board of Directors of the HMS Community School District met in a regular session at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School Media Center, on May 15, 2023 at 6:00 pm - Determine a Quorum
Members Present: Ryan Haack, Chad Lyman, Becky Stoltz, Kyle McCarter, Scott Vollink
Members Absent: None
Others Present: Patrick Carlin, Emily Widvey, Kevan Kaiser, Lisa Kaiser, Ashley Benz, Matthew Van Voorst, Nathan Hemiller, Mike Petersen, Jeremy Niichel, Amy Arrick, David Vander Broek, and Heidi Douma. - Adopt Agenda

6.2 Mini Course – Mr. Thomas gave presentation on Mini Courses and Data Collected.
6.3 Discuss Trail Proposal – Discussion was had.
6.4 Discuss Board Policy 200.04 – Mr. Carlin informed in regards to new policy.
6.5 Discuss Student Handbooks – Mr. Carlin advised to review for later approval.
6.6 Discuss Staff Handbooks – Mr. Carlin advised to review for later approval. - Action Items
7.1 Approve Basketball Out of State Trip:

7.2 Approve JH Baseball/Softball Locations: Finishing the school year at Sanborn but moving to Hartley when school is out for the summer.
