Edwin Vern Norton, 73, of Sioux Falls, passed away on June 26. Ed was born June 29, 1949 in Sanborn to parents Vern and Lois Norton. He grew up in Sanborn and graduated from high school there in 1967. Ed served in the U.S. Army, taught Physical Education in Sioux Falls and then went on to a career in construction and was a master handyman. He is survived by two daughters, one granddaughter and five siblings. A memorial service will be held at a later date with the George Bloom Funeral Home of Sioux Falls in charge of arrangements.
Denny Vanden Berg of Springfield, MO, former Sanborn resident, passed away recently due to cancer, at the age of 78. He was a brother of Susie Van Tol of Sanborn. He, at one time, lived in the Milford area. A Celebration of Life service was held on June 21 at Milford.
