The next Movie Night at the First Reformed Church in Melvin will be Sunday evening, July 30 at 7:00 p.m. At that time the movie Mr. What will be shown.
The movie is an inspirational drama about a man named Mattiesko Wuopio (better known as Mr. What) who has spent 22 years in prison for a crime he did not commit. Upon apprehension of the real criminal, he is released, only to face the stigma of jail time as he re-enters society in the tiny town of Tecumseh, MI. He seeks redemption through his ailing father, who is affected with Alzheimer’s disease, along with an endearing little boy and a stray dog. The story reveals that miracles are never far away, especially when one is needed.
