Damon Dausel of Battle Creek has been awarded the Greg Brouwer Memorial Scholarship by the Northwest Iowa Community College Foundation. Dausel is a Powerline Technology student at NCC this fall. This is a $500 scholarship.
This scholarship was established in loving memory of Greg Brouwer, by his wife, Gladys, and son, Ethan. Greg Brouwer was a graduate of Sanborn High School who then attended Northwest Iowa Technical College (now NCC), graduating in 1976 with his Powerline diploma. Greg continued to advance his career by taking Electric Utility Supervisor and Powerline Construction and Design and Safety courses.
