HMS musicians Stacy Vander Velde, Rebecca Gerritson and Rachel Funke were selected as members of the 1998 All State Band.
Two large piles of corn were pictured in this issue, at the Farmers Coop Elevator amounting to about 1.3 million bushels. Corn yields are at about 150 bushels per acre…soybean yields are about 50 bushels per acre.
