Allen J. Buren has completed his basic training and is attending Security Police School at Lackland Air Force Base in Texas for five weeks.
Construction around town has been progressing during favorable weather. Framework for the medical center shows the general design of the building…walls are rising on the new First Reformed Church.
Mrs. Orleen Waund returned home Tuesday from an Oriental tour.

Youth of the Sanborn Methodist and Presbyterian churches will portray a live nativity scene on December 19 from 7:00-8:30 p.m.
The piano students of Mrs. Lowell Kayser took part in a piano recital November 30. Taking part were David and Daryl Damman, Nick Grauer, Darcy Scheerhoorn, Cindy Postma, Karen Rohrs, Anita Dasen and Lynn Brown.
