Nancy Nadine Geisinger died January 1, 2024, at the Spencer Hospital at the age of 73 after a brief battle with cancer.
A Visitation will be held on Saturday, Jan. 13 from 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Parish Church and School in Spencer. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at
10:00 a.m.
Nancy was born in Sheldon, Iowa on May 24, 1950 to Adolph “Rudy” and Lyla (Yates) Crawford. She graduated from Sanborn High School in 1968 and from UNI with a teaching degree in 1972. Nancy worked in the collection business in Minneapolis, MN and Spencer before working at Lincoln School in Spencer. In 1991, she began teaching as a fifth-grade teacher at Sacred Heart until her retirement in 2015.
Survivors include her husband, Larry Geisinger of Spencer; children Stephanie Bronstad, Matthew (Kim) Schuver, Michelle (Corey) Johnson and Dawn Geisinger; her sister, Karen (Doug) Handeland; 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
