The pre-school and kindergarten Sunday School class and their teacher, Mrs. Gerald Buren and Mrs. Wesley Taylor and her nursery class visited the Taylor farm for an hour Sunday. The children enjoyed the animals, the little lambs, and the kittens.
Mr. and Mrs. Al Baldwin returned home Saturday after spending the winter in Sun City, AZ.
It has been reported to the Pioneer that Mr. and Mrs. Ellis Miller have sold their summer resort located on Lake Minnewashta at Arnolds Park. The resort has been purchased by Richard Vander Woude. The Millers have operated the resort for the past 30 years.

Pamela Andersen, Evan Anema, and Justin Wolfswinkel have been chosen by Unit #318 of Sanborn to attend the 54th Annual session of the Iowa American Legion & Auxiliary Boys/Girls State to be held in June.
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Boer will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on March 6. The day will be celebrated with their family.
The Sanborn Funeral Home received the Award of Excellence in Funeral Service at the 119th Annual Iowa Funeral Directors Association Convention held April 13-15 in Des Moines.
