Word was received of the death of former Sanborn resident, Clifton Vander Ark of Oro Valley, AZ on September 8, 2024. He was born in Chcago, IL on December 30, 1941. The family moved to Sanborn in the fall of 1954 where his father became minister at Sanborn Christian Reformed Church.
Cliff (Preach) received his education at Sanborn Christian Grade School and Western Christian High. He graduated from Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI with a degree in chemistry and biology. Cliff then moved to Arizona where he married and worked for the Arizona DPS Crime Laboratories. He is missed by longtime friends Jim Andringa and Junior Postma.
