Once again this year, Locomotion Lanes in Sanborn is the site for Class 1A State Qualifying Meets for both girls and boys.
The girls meet is scheduled for Monday, February 17 at 10:00 a.m. Joining the Hawks are bowlers from Algona, Emmetsburg, Forest City, MMCRU, New Hampton and Pocahontas Area.
Then on Tuesday, February 18 the boys take over, again beginning at 10:00 a.m. HMS will be joined by bowlers representing Algona, Emmetsburg, Estherville Lincoln Central, Forest City, Independence, MMCRU and Pocahontas Area.
On each of the days, competitors will bowl 15 baker games to decide the team standings and three individual games. The top team and the top four individuals qualify for the State Bowling Tournament at Cadillac XBC in Waterloo with 1A individuals bowling February 24 and teams February 26.
