AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SANBORN, IOWA 2000, BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO CHAPTER 110 NATURAL GAS UTILITY
BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Sanborn, Iowa:
SECTION 1. SECTION MODIFIED. Chapter 110, Section 02 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sanborn, Iowa, 2000 is repealed and the following adopted in lieu thereof:
110.02 SERVICE RULES AND REGULATIONS
The fules and regulations for service to be rendered by the Municipal Gas Utility are contained in the Gas Tarrif on file with the Utilities Division of the Iowa Department of Commerce.
SECTION 2. REPEALER. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are hereby repealed.
SECTION 3. SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. If any section, provision or part of this ordinance shall be adjudged invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity of the ordinance as a whole or any section, provision or part thereof not adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 4. WHEN EFFECTIVE. The ordinance shall be in effect from and after its final passage, approval and publication as provided by law.

AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF SANBORN, IOWA 2000, BY AMENDING PROVISIONS PERTAINING TO CHAPTER 110 NATURAL GAS UTILITY
BE IT ENACTED by the City Council of the City of Sanborn, Iowa:
SECTION 1. SECTION MODIFIED. Chapter 110, Section 04 of the Code of Ordinances of the City of Sanborn, Iowa, 2000 is repealed and the following adopted in lieu thereof:
110.04 RATES
Firm Residential and Commercial Service
Meter Charge $10.00
Utility Charge $.330 per CCF
Transportation Charge $ Northern Natural gas transport charge
Gas Purchase Charge $ commodity Charge per month
Interruptible Customer Class #1
Meter Charge $ 10.00 minimum
Utility Charge $.330 per CCF
Transportation Charge $Northern Natural gas transport charge
Gas Purchase Charge $Commodity Charge per month
Industrial Customer Class AMPI
Meter Charge $225.00
Utility Charge $.065 per CCF
Transportation Charge $Northern Natural gas transport charge
Gas Purchase Charge $Commodity Charge per month
Meter Charges for a standard AC -250 meter (Standard Residential/Commercial Meter) $10.00
Meter Charges for a 425 meter will be an additional $3.00 per month
Meter charges for a AC -630 meter will be an additional $7.00 per month
Larger meters over the AC -630 meter will be charged a meter charge to be determined by City Staff and approved by the City Council.
