The War Eagle Conference Academic Awards Banquet was held March 25 at Trinity Christian High School in Hull. Each school in the War Eagle Conference honored their top five percent of students academically in both the junior and senior classes. The keynote speaker was Dr. Dan Cox, chief administrator of Northwest AEA. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn’s junior honorees were Payton Diehm and Lillian Van Loon. The Senior honorees, who were unable to attend the banquet, were Gracie Knobloch and Samantha Berends.
