Hawk boys are fifth at their own Hawk Relays
The Hawk Relays were hosted by the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn track and field boys April 25 at Hartley. Sibley-Ocheyedan took home the team championship after scoring a total of 171 points. The Hawks were in fifth with 56 points.
HMS finished third in several individual events including Nathan Stofferan in both the 100 and 200 meter dash, James Carlin in the long jump and Easton Teal in the 3200 meters. The 4×100 relay also placed third with Jose Perez-Perez, Ryan Grotluschen, Carlin and Stofferan.
Grotluschen was fourth in the 1600 meters as were Blaine Finster in the 400 meter hurdles and Hunter Daggett in the discus. The 4×400 relay also finished fourth with the team of Karter Zimmer, Simone Dellavedova, Caden Douma and Alex Billings.
