The strikeouts just keep coming for Gracie Knobloch. The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn softball pitcher reached the 500 strikeout milestone June 25 in the first inning of a road game against Harris-Lake Park. Knobloch recorded 71 K’s as an eighth grader, 96 as a freshman, 175 as a sophomore and 88 as a junior. As of last weekend she had struck out 84 batters in her senior season to raise her career total to 514.
