Sylvia Andringa and Lois Hakeman visited Bryan and Becca Hakeman at Sioux Falls, SD Sunday. At five o’clock Sylvia and Lois met with Sylvia’s sister, Gertrude Abels at Sibley for her 80+1 birthday. It was attended by her children, nieces and nephews. The family could not celebrate her 80th birthday last year because of COVID so this celebration was called 80+1.
Eddie Knowlton of Crescent spent Thursday and Friday with his mother, Sally Knowlton. Sunday guests were David Amundson of Canton, SD and Melinda Larson of Sioux Falls, SD.
Dinner guests Sunday in the Brian and Betheny Buren home were Keith and Nancy Iverson, and Chase and Amber Vermeer and Huckson of Orange City,
Shawn McReynolds and Keith of Webb City, MO spent from Sunday of last week to Wednesday in the Randy Lyman home. They came especially to visit her dad, Marlow Dorman at Prairie View Inn. Kim Eliker and Ryker of Lincoln, NE also came to visit in the Lyman home and with other relatives.
Rae Lyn and Roger Paulson of Sheldon took Wade and Sherryl Tressler to Carnival Brazilian Grill in Sioux Falls Saturday to celebrate Sherryl’s birthday.
Guests in the Lorn Wills home Sunday, April 10 to celebrate their 50th anniversary were Vickie, Logan and Ben Quinones of Pleasant Hills, Wade and Hamony Wills and Chance Wills of Hawarden, Morgan Lyman and Tanner Jermone of Harrisburg, SD, and Chad and Rhonda Lyman and Jayden Lyman and Charlotte and Crystal Vierhout, all of Sanborn.
Danielle Rozeboom of Sioux Falls, SD came Friday to visit her grandmother, Linda Rozeboom for the weekend. On Sunday they drove to Sioux City where they picked up Linda’s sister, Donna Olson. Together they drove to Glenwood to attend a baby shower honoring Linda’s granddaughter Kaitlyn and baby daughter Nesbitt due in June. Also attending from Sanborn were Kaitlyn’s grandmother Henri Schnurr and great-aunt Evelyn Kroese.
On April 15 Carol Salazar and Margaret Larson of Worthington. MN went to visit their brother, Randy Brounko at Sheldon. They were able to take him for dinner and then back to his home for a visit.
Don Hakeman was a Saturday supper and Sunday dinner guest in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home. Allison and Samantha Mercer were afternoon visitors.
Patricia Cooper of Indianola spent the weekend in the home of her mother, Wanda Schuver.
