Too late for last week
Sherryl and Wade Tressler cooked Easter dinner, bringing it to Jeanette Endorf Easter Sunday. Also celebrating at Jeanette’s were Al, Vicki and Andy Endorf of Waterloo, and Rae Lynn, Roger, Jade and Ethan Paulson of Sheldon. It was good to get togtether.
Jeremy and Christy Ten Kley and family came the Saturday before Easter to spend the Easter holiday in the Jose and Carol Salazar home. Also visiting were grandsons Eric and Alic Salazar. On Sunday they all enjoyed Easter dinner and supper together. Kelly and Nicole Roder joined the group Sunday afternoon. There was lots of laughter and memories shared. Everyone returned home Sunday evening.

The Crazy 8 card club met Friday noon at Jay’s Restaurant for lunch. They spent the afternoon playing 500. Gayle Vander Woude won high, Ardis Dummett second, and Jeanette Endorf was low. Sandi Kleve was hostess.
On Fri., April 8 Jose and Carol Salazar traveled to West Des Moines to visit their son, Troy and April Salazar and family. They enjoyed seeing the Salazars’ new home, went shopping, and had a great visit and delicious food. Theyreturned home on Sunday afternoon.
Don Hakeman was a Saturday supper guest and Sunday dinner guest in the Jack and Carol Elgersma home. Becky Suckow also joined them for Saturday supper.
George and Helen Andringa of Lincoln, NE visited his mother, Sylvia Andringa Saturday and took her out for lunch.
Jerrold and Rhonda Wynia of Farmington, MN were Sunday dinner guests in the Lee and Susie Van Tol home. Additional guests were Mike and Judy Visser and Gertie Visser. The Wynias have been here to be with her mother, Norene Krikke, a resident in Sanford Senior Care at Sheldon.
Harriet Van Veldhuizen went to Garritsen, SD on Sunday to meet her grandson, Brad Farrell and accompanied him to Huron, SD where they attended the final “New Found Sound” show, “Let the Good Times Roll.” Anna Pyle, daughter of Shari Pyle and granddaughter of Harriet, was a choir member. This was Anna’s 10th performance with the group. The directors have resigned after serving since 2004. Brad and Harriet also had a brief visit in the Shari Pyle home.
David Amundson and Janie Slade of Canton, SD visited their aunt, Sally Knowlton Sunday.
