Last Thursday high school friends Laurie Montag and Pam Beschoner of Emmetsburg came and spent the day with Lindy Buren. They enjoyed lunch together.
Last week Wednesday Linda Rozeboom’s niece, Cloe Starkenburg of Lake Park visited her for the afternoon.
On Saturday Lindy Buren went to Ames to visit her brother, Rick Stowell and Peg. They attended a concert at C. Y. Stephens Auditorium on Sunday: Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons.
On Monday Lindy Buren visited friends in Emmetsburg, Ruthven and Spencer.
Last Friday Linda Rozeboom went to Minneapolis with her son, Mike of Sioux Falls. There they met her grandaughter, Danielle Rozeboom also of Sioux Falls, and her friend Matt. On Saturday they attended OCB Los Campeones Cup body building competition in which her grandson, Bryce competed. Bryce won First Place in Novice Class B and fourth place in open class.
Last week Tuesday granddaughter Claire Ten Kley came to visit her grandparents, Jose and Carol Salazar. She is staying the week and will return home on Wednesday.
On Saturday Carol Salazar’s granddaughter, Claire Ten Kley and Cindy McParland traveled to Worthington, MN to attend a baby shower for Carol’s niece, Ashley Janssen. She received many nice gifts. Everyone enjoyed a great visit and lunch. Ashley will return home to Utah on July 6. Ashley is the daughter of Margaret Larson.
Last weekend Joanne Andersen traveled to Isanti, MN to visit her son Peter, Ornuma and Isabella.
Jim Dasen of Cedar Rapids arrived Monday to visit in the parental Charlotte Dasen home and to attend the funeral service for classmate and close friend, Bill Postma.
