Okoboji/HMS finished seventh out of eight team competing at the Siouxland Conference Wrestling Tournament held January 29 at Sioux Center. The Pioneers totaled 92.5 points. Winning the team title was Central Lyon/George-Little Rock with 215 points.
Top finisher for Okoboji/HMS was Noah Strantz who placed second at 152 pounds. Sam Pas finished third at 220. Nick Bronstad was a fourth place finisher at 285 as was Jesse Bockman at 160.
Joining Bronstad as HMS wrestlers at the meet were Bryce Dodge and Chayton Faulkner. Dodge placed fifth at 145 pounds Faulkner was sixth at 170.
