Art Raak, a Junior, was the first casualty of the Sanborn High School ‘71 football season. He suffered a fractured left arm in the Swea City-Sanborn football game Friday night at Swea City.
Frost was reported in Sanborn September 23 when the temperature fell to 22 degrees.
Sat., September 25 marked a special day for the Mi’Ono Club when they gathered at Brady Field and officially presented a check to the Sanborn Community School Board which represented the proceeds from the Scoreboard fund drive.

Service of ordination will be held at the First Presbyterian Church on Sun., September 29 at 4 p.m. For Mike Japenga. Mike is a member of First Presbyterian Church of Sanborn and has accepted a call to serve as pastor for the Presbyterian Church at Round Lake, MN.
HMS Homecoming Coronation was held Tuesday night at the high school. Rory Marra and Michele Dummett were chosen king and queen. Attendants were Corina Donkersloot, Scott Byers, Nicole Muhs, Aaron Stoltz, Jay Koedam and Shannon Koele.
