The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn girls and boys are about to begin basketball tournament play in Class 1A. The girls will travel to West Bend on Thursday, February 11 to tangle with West Bend-Mallard at 7:00 p.m. At the same time, Siouxland Christian visits Woodbury Central. The winners of those games will meet in a Region 7 Quarterfinal on Tuesday, February 16 at 7:00 p.m. at Moville.
In boys District 1 action, HMS entertains Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, February 15 at Hartley. Also at that time, Newell-Fonda will host MMCRU. Those winners will match up Thursday, February 18 at 7:00 p.m. at Newell.
