Evelyn Post has seen a Bluebird at the feeder for the past week.
Lee and Susie Van Tol attended a graduation party for their great-granddaughter, Kylie Bittner at Dell Rapids, SD Saturday afternoon. She intends to attend Briar Cliff University at Sioux City next fall.
Randy and Candice Lyman spent the weekend in the home of their daughter, Swede and Kim Eliker and Ryker. They went especially to attend the graduation of Ryker from kindergarten.
Harriet Van Veldhuizen went to Sioux Falls, SD on Friday afternoon to attend the Spring Dance Recital of the Ballerina Dance Studio at the Washington Pavilion. Her granddaughter, Anna Pyle performed in two of the 75 dances. Some of the various types of dance were Pointe, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop, Funk, Contemporary, Lyrical, and Jazz. Harriet’s daughter, Shari Pyle and granddaughters, Abby Pyle and Katie McKee all of Sioux Falls, also attended. All went out for a snack afterwards where the other granddaughter, Leah Pyle was a waitress.
Jack and Carol Elgersma, and Don Hakeman were supper guests in the home of Jim and Becky Suckow Saturday.
Steve and Anita Goetz of Fairbanks, AK left Wednesday by car to return home after spending three weeks in the Charlotte Dasen home. They purchased a vehicle while here and are pulling the Dasen Betheny camper home. Char has given it to her granddaughter, Amy who lives in Fairbanks.
Jeff Dasen left Monday morning to return home to Scottsdale, AZ after spending three weeks in the parental Charlotte Dasen home. Jeff and other members of the family did much needed repair work while here.
Bob Ellett of Iowa City was in town the beginning of the week and stopped by on Monday to visit his old neighbor, Charlotte Dasen.
