On Saturday Jose and Carol Salazar traveled to Okoboji to meet their son Troy and April Salazar and granddaughters, Isabelle and Emma, and friend Ethan. They went especially to celebrate the birthdays of Troy and Isabelle. They enjoyed brunch and birthday cake at Troy’s home there.
Randy and Darla Brown went to Creston on Sat., June 4 to celebrate the birthday of Randy’s mother, Ellen Brown on her 96th birthday anniversary. All of her children were there for lunch. The Browns returned home to Sanborn later that afternoon.
Linda Rozeboom went to Sioux Falls Sunday to attend the high school graduation party for her youngest grandson, Bryce Rozeboom. The party was hosted by his Dad, Mike Rozeboom and sister, Danielle, all of Sioux Falls.
Bill and Ande Hakeman from Louisiana, visited his brother, Don Hakeman at Prairie View Sunday afternoon. They had come especially to attend the 100th birthday open house in honor of Marion Jaycox. Additional Sunday afternoon visitors of Don were Carol Elgersma, and Becky and Jim Suckow.
Chris and Jen Meyer spent four days this past week with their grandparents, Larry and Fran Peelen. They toured the Lakes, played games and visited their other grandparents, John and Carolyn Meyer of Sheldon. Chris and Jen are making their home in Bettendorf where Jen is employed as a veterinarian. Chris is looking for work in the field of engineering.
