Representing Sanborn High’s Dogmatizer, Roger Scholten attended the 20th annual Iowa University Newspaper Journalism School at Iowa City this past week.
Mrs. Alta Brady and her son, Bill Brown, turned the first spade of dirt Monday at the site of the lighted water fountain to be constructed on the northwest corner of Prairie View grounds…She donated the fountain as a memory to her late husband, Dr. E.M. Brady.
An open house was held at St. John’s Lutheran Church fellowship hall June 18 for Mrs. Cora Brendle in observing her 80th birthday.

The Sanborn community is invited to a farewell open house reception for Rev. Keith Pals and Kristine Pals on Sunday afternoon, June 22…They will be moving to a new parish at Pierson.
You are invited to join in celebrating the marriage of Kara Funke to Aaron Pingel at an open house reception at St. John’s Lutheran Church fellowship hall Sunday afternoon…the Pingels were married June 15 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Grafton, WI.
