Dick Kruger is observing his 5th anniversary at the Standard Station in Sanborn with open house on June 29 from 9-4.
Purchase of the Spencer Dairy, Inc., a business that has distributed dairy products in northwest Iowa since the 1920’s, by Wells Blue Bunny, was announced recently…Route drivers will continue to serve the same customers.
Sanborn Development, Inc. has purchased the Don Noll property located at 4th and Main Streets in Sanborn. The acquisition will enable them to go ahead with plans for a medical clinic…Dr. C. Maris has agreed to donate his property located directly to the south of the purchased site.
The Rev. Lowell Kayser will receive the rite of ordination and will be installed as pastor at St. John’s Lutheran Church in a special service on July 2 at 2 p.m.

Rev. Janie Dahlin has been appointed as the new pastor at St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church in Sanborn.
Minnie Van Werven of Prairie View celebrated her 92nd birthday anniversary at several parties in her honor Monday.
Grace Moser had the misfortune to fall and break her wrist on June 13 while camping.
