Power was interrupted for about 20 minutes Friday morning in an area of Sanborn. According to a representative of Sanborn Electric, a squirrel got into an overhead transformer in the alley north of the Bob Douma residence, blowing the transformer fuse. The incident also blew two line fuses that resulted in a loss of power at HMS Middle School as well as a number of residences. Power was restored following the replacement of the damaged fuses.
