The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn boys golfers played their second dual April 13 and their first on the road. Heat and wind, and lots of both, accompanied the golfers as they trod the fairways of Primghar Golf Course. South O’Brien fared slightly better than the Hawks, winning the War Eagle Conference dual 203-209.
HMS did produce the top two medal winners. Jack Mastbergen took first with a round of 48. Charlie Conway carded a 49 to claim the runner-up medal. Lucas Kroese fired a 54 and Slayton McCarter finished with a 58.
