The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn boys golfers produced their best team score of the season as they hosted Hinton April 24 at Sanborn Golf and Country Club. However, the Blackhawks captured the War Eagle Conference dual 168-187.
The four medals were all won by Hinton. First place went to Kaden Barrett who shot a 37. Lucas Kroese and Blake Meendering each fired a 46 to pace the Hawks. The other HMS scores were a 47 by Charlie Conway, a 48 by Jack Mastbergen and a 61 by Slayton McCarter. For the JV, Aiden Bush shot 56, Ethan Baker 58 and Dominic Tripp 69.
