Ryker Eliker returned home last Thursday after spending a week in Sanborn with his grandparents, Randy and Candice Lyman. Ryker is the son of Swede and Kim Eliker of Lincoln, NE.
Anita Goetz and Sarah of Fairbanks, AK arrived by plane in Minneapolis last Tuesday and are visiting in the Charlotte Dasen home.
Last week Wednesday Jose and Carol Salazar traveled to Fremont, NE to visit the Jeremy and Christy Ten Kleys and take granddaughter, Claire Ann back home after visiting here. They were able to see the new home the Ten Kleys have just purchased and moved into. They spent Wednesday and Thursday visiting and returned home on Thursday.
Marie Maranell visited her sister-in-law, Linda Rozeboom last week Wednesday afternoon. They enjoyed supper at Jay’s Restaurant.

Jim and Becky Suckow left Saturday to spend the 4th of July holiday with their daughter, Amy at Eden Prairie, MN. They planned to return home July 5th.
On Thursday evening Carol and Jose Salazar traveled to Sioux City to pick up their granddaughter, Claire Ann Ten Kley. She visited her grandparents until July 5. Her mom and dad, Christy and Jeremy Ten Kley had flown to Virginia to visit their son, Jacob who is stationed as a Marine there.
Nancy Iverson, and Rexann Brant of Paullina met with the Rod and Dorothy Kroese family at Sandbar Beach at the Lakes last week Wednesday. The Kroese family were all vacationing there for the week.

Steve Goetz of Fairbanks, AK arrived last week Wednesday to visit in the Charlotte Dasen home. He had flown to Los Angeles to pick up his motorcycle and drove it to Sanborn from Los Angeles. He camped the whole way, had good weather but did hit a coyote crossing the road in Nebraska the last day of his ride. He left here on his cycle Saturday morning for Minnesota to meet his friend, Bob Marok who was visiting family there. The two left Sunday morning on their cycles from Itasca State Park, the headwaters of the Mississippi River, on their BeCAUSE of Q Poker Run 2023. They plan to cover the Northern United States, Canada and Eastern United States to Virginia, before returning here later in July. Bob’s granddaughter, Quinn, died as an infant of a rare disease that is being researched. Proceeds from the poker run go towards the research.
